Sorry to hear of Janice's passing. She and I grew up around each other. Both in early years in Morningside attending Morningside Elementary and living just a very short distance form each other. In younger years I would visit her house and she mine as just very good friends. Later in our school life we attended Suitland Jr High together for at least the first couple of years till I moved away. Then classmates again at Crossland Sr/Jr High at the time till we all graduated together in 66 and Crossland became just a Sr High School. She hosted a an 11th grade after prom party for several of us couples which my date and I attended. Looking back it is interesting how close and far apart you can be with those that you grew up around. My heart felt feelings go out to her surviving family, and perhaps they should just think of this as her next chapter that she has moved into, and will be awaiting their arrival when their next chapter presents itself. My best to all!

I send my heartfelt condolences to the family. Janice was one of the kindest people I knew growing up in Morningside. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. I only wish I had kept up with her over the years. She will be greatly missed.
