As I was looking at a post about another classmate that passed way to early I was thinking about my friend Lynda (Cooper) Brookbank. We went WAY back to Elementary School. Lynda was such a special friend to me. We spent alot of time together and many memories. She used to spend the night at my house on a regular  basis. One time her Dad took Virginia Smoot, Nancy Wise, Lynda and myself camping at Virginia Beach. Lynda tried to teach me to smoke at one of her many sleep over parties. Yea, I turned green...! We had so much fun as the years went by. Ray and I were living in New York when I got the call that she was in the hospital and she passed the next day. I remember her often thinking of the many things we did together as a child. They were good memories OH and she could sing "Sweet Nothin" just as good as Brenda Lee!

Linda and I ran for class VP in sixth grade at camp springs elem. I voted for her and she voted for me ! So that fink Art Weimer cast the winning vote in her favor. She was so sweet and shy. Send me an angel

LYNDA,

I CAN'T BELIEVE I NEVER VISITED YOUR SITE IN THE MEMORY SECTION.

I KNOW THERE ARE MANY FOLKS WHO LOVED YOU AND MISS YOU.

WE HAD A COUPLE OF CLASSES TOGETHER AND SHARED SOME LAUGHS.

YOU LEFT US WAY TOO EARLY

SEE YOU LATER

How is it possible that she has been gone for 37 years.  A terrible tragedy.....Jimmy was never the same, he also died much, much too soon!
