Per Byron Braniff:  Bad news about Dave Ketcham. Dave shot himself on April 30,1996. He had been suffering from terminal hepatitis and a bad liver, both probably as a result of his lengthy battle with alcoholism. At the time he became sick, he a good job in computers with Comsat but eventually could not work, his marriage broke up, and he moved in with his mother in Southern Pines, N.C. After Crossland, Dave and I went to school together in Munich, Germany. Although we had not been in contact for 20+ years, we have many mutual friends and one of them saw Dave shortly before his death. He is the one that gave me the information.
