From Bill Sinclair:
I'm very sad to report the passing of our classmate, and my lifelong friend, Betsy Meyer Adam. Betsy died on Christmas day In Phoenix surrounded by her family. She fought, but lost, a tough and courageous battle with Stage 4 glioblastoma brain cancer. She is survived by her wonderful family, including her sister, Dale, two children, Peggy and Bobby, and four grandchildren. She also enjoyed a wonderful, loving 10-year relationship with her friend Leonard. For those of you who knew Betsy, it won’t surprise you that she was gracious, smiling, and happy to the very end.

This is a sad day. Hearing of Betsy's passing took the shine off Christmas, even though I know she is in a better place now. She was a true friend during our years at Crossland, and I regret that we did not stay in touch over the years. When I saw her at our 50th reunuion, it was as though no time had passed. We recognized each other immediately, and she was as joyful as ever. I remember wishing we had been closer since graduation. I, like many others in our class, will miss her.

Goodbye to a great woman and good friend. She was as cool as ever when she stopped by my house a couple years ago.
