MORE SAD NEWS:

Ronald G. Cunningham, a former teacher at Crossland during our school days and was presently serving as deputy superintendent of Charles County Public Schools, died New Year’s Eve as the result of a heart attack.  He was 69.  He began his career in education in 1964 as a social studies teacher at Crossland High School.

We are also sad to report that Cara Courtney Dempsey, 29, daughter of classmate Courtney Clow Dempsey ('66), of Swan Point, MD., passed away suddenly on Friday, December 30, 2011, at her home in North Carolina.   Here's the link to Lee's Funeral Home. Welcome to Crossland High School Class Of 1966 web site.  This website is about the classmates who graduated from or attended Crossland H.S. in Temple Hills, MD in 1966. It provides our class with the opportunity to come together to discuss reunions, lost classmates, and other topics of interest to our class. Please feel free to join. I want to thank all the classmates that attended the 45th reunion, including the 4 new classmates that had not been to one before, John Corcetti, Dan Sullivan, Richard Summers and Frank Vito. Hopefully they will return for our future reunions.

The committee and I hope everyone had an enjoyable evening socializing with friends and classmates. We worked hard the past few months to once again bring the "CLASS" of '66 together. Now we all can sit back and take it easy... until the 50th !!!

On August 27, 2010 approximately 20 classmates and their friends came together to enjoy a another great evening together at the Port Tobacco Tiki Bar outside LaPlata Md.  It was good to see some of our friends come from near and so far away for the "informal" reunion... Chuck Paglio from New Jersey, Toby King du Cellier from West Virginia, and a number of other classmates from around our area.  Those who attended are listed/displayed in the photo above and thanks for attending and making it another great get together...
