I was so sad to hear that Courtney had passed away. I had not been in touch with her for a while. I knew she was ill but was not sure with what. We were best friends growing-up and had many happy times together. Rest in Peace dear friend. Alice

Good morning, Eddie! Happy Birthday! I hope you and your family are doing well and I miss hearing from you. The last time was when we found out about Skip Kimmey's passing. Is "Little Eddie" still attending Towson University? Do you remember climbing the Washington Monument's steps for a workout when we were young and did some crazy things. Also, I remember riding bikes on Interstate 495 before it opened for traffic. We had many good times during our childhood and teenage years. I guess the highlight was the 1966 State Track Championships (same day/night as our Prom) where you set a record for the first "school-boy" to run the 400 meters in less than 50 seconds. I believe your time was 49.5 seconds--Wow. You were a hero that night at the Prom. As you may or may not be aware, I am a widow now for about 4 years. I still live just South of Towson and my kids, Stacy and Dylan are doing well. I have 4 grandkids--two are grandsons in their 20s and then I have a 15 year old granddaughter and a 13 year old grandson. During COVID, I have been staying in and I miss my volunteer work at Cromwell Valley Park and the UMD Agricultural Resource Center where my team created a "Children's Garden". Enjoy your 73rd birthday today. I am well and need to do some Christmas shopping this week. Take care. Alice.

Hi Eddie, I was pleased to see that you are still around. . . yet, very sad news about Skip Kimmey. I heard that your son attends Towson University--that is about a mile and 1/2 from my house. If there is anything I can do for him--I am here. I would like to hear from you. Are you living in your parent's house on Temple Hills Road? I am well but getting "stir crazy" from the COVID-19 "stay at home guidelines." Please take care. Alice
