Mr. Howard Lee Foster, age 68, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica, Georgia.

Howard was born in Washington, D.C. on September 4, 1948, the son of the late William Foster and Priscilla Hopkins Foster. Howard attended Coker College in Hartsville, South Carolina where he received BS and BA degrees. He had several hobbies including playing golf and war games as well as fantasy football. Howard served in the United States Army for twenty four years as a helicopter pilot, retiring as a Lt. Colonel. He served in Vietnam, Korea and Panama. He worked at Braelinn Golf Course for twenty years as the cart mechanic.

Survivors include his wife of forty six years, Kris Olson Foster, son, Sean Foster, Orlando, Florida, son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Karen Foster, Villa Rica, Georgia, sister, Debbie Cooksey, Bowie, Maryland; two grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robby Foster.

In accordance with his wishes, his body was cremated.

Richard (Rick) Henderson

Of all our clasemates, Howard and Kris were among the few I knew as frineds outside of school.Howard's passing is very sad news for me.
